Pawan’s Janasena party has been in the survival mode since the assembly elections that were held last year. Recently he formed an alliance with the BJP and is in the course of gaining mileage in the state. To his shock, he just received a body blow from one of his key members in the party.
Former CBI Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana is a prominent public figure in the state. He was given the Vishakapatnam MP ticket in the polls. He gains massive positivity among the public for his honesty. Now he resigned the Janasena party citing Pawan Kalyan’s failure to withstand on a promise as the only reason.
In his resignation letter, Lakshminarayana wrote, “Pawan Kalyan said he would stay away from movies and continue in politics. But he changed his word and started acting in movies again. He keeps changing his word frequently and that is not in my best interest.”
This resignation from JD which implies the blame on Pawan Kalyan might have shaken the Janasena party circles. Pawan should have had an understanding with his party leaders before taking such a crucial decision (re-entry to movies) given the principles he party has. Now, the response of Pawan Kalyan to JD’s resignation is being awaited by AP people with all eyes.
