ఫొని బీభత్సం అంతా ఇంతా కాదు. ఒడిశాలో వినాశనం సృష్టిస్తోంది. ఇంట్లో ఉన్నా భయమే.. ఇంట్లో నుంచి బయటికి వచ్చినా భయమే. గంటకు రెండు వందల కిలోమీటర్ల వేగంతో వస్తున్న ప్రచండ గాలుల వల్ల ఇళ్లే కదులుతున్నాయంటే పరిస్థితిని అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు.
శుక్రవారం ఉదయమే పూరిలో తీరం దాటింది ఫొని. దీని ధాటికి భువనేశ్వర్ లో బిల్డింగ్ కన్ స్ట్రక్షన్ కోసం ఉపయోగించే పెద్ద క్రేక్ కింద పడిపోయింది. బస్సు కూడా గాలి ఉదృతిని తట్టుకోలేక కొట్టుకుపోయింది. పెద్ద పెద్ద వృక్షాలు నేరకొరగడం, విద్యుత్ స్థంభాలు కూలడం.. రూఫ్ టాప్ లు ఎగిరిపోవడం, పెట్రోల్ బంక్ లు.. కిటికీలు, డోర్లు గాలికి విరిగిపోవడం.. ఇలా ఒడిశాను ఫొని వినాశనం చేసేస్తోంది.
