Mahesh’s commercial entertainer ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ starts on a high note in the initial phase of the second half, unlike the trend. Mahesh’s continues his terrific performance throughout the run time. Just when the film looks unstoppable, Anil induces some forceful comedy into the subject which is already very thin to recognise.
‘Mind Block’ song is a pure fans treatise and we can witness VINTAGE Mahesh Babu followed by a little surprise. The play goes downhill from thereon without a point to hold on and to carry out emotions driven by the Ravipudi’s enthusiasm to withhold family audience. The way he dropped the star hero’s rage at the end shows his immaturity.
Nonethless, this part of the movie is a must-watch for the Mahesh Babu’s fans to witness their hero in an outraged character. Vijaya Shanti’s role could have been a lot more dynamic and Ravipudi’s lack of focus on his strength (comedy) is a major obstacle for its long run. But Mahesh carried the onus on his shoulders and this movie is a ONE MAN SHOW and the name is Mahesh Babu.
