MS Dhoni after getting out in WC SF

There has been a lot of uncertainty about the future of the former Indian captain MS Dhoni. Dhoni was last seen in international cricket in the unforgettable World Cup Semi Finals against New Zealand.

Amid many speculations, Shastri indicated that the veteran could still make the trip to Australia for the Men’s T20 World Cup later in the year if he had a good IPL season. “I have had a conversation with MS and that is between us,” Shastri said.

How ever, Shastri responded on the main point and said, “he has finished his Test career, he may soon end his ODI career. In all probability, he will finish one-day cricket,”

Even Ganguly said that Dhoni has to play at Domestic level to make a come back into the national squad. Under the present situations, it is the most unlikely situation.

So, this would be the last IPL Dhoni will play and soon he may bid goodbye to ODI cricket also. The 2020 ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled to be the seventh ICC T20 World Cup tournament, with matches to be held in Australia from 18 October to 15 November 2020.
