The #MeToo movement that shattered the country mainly involved the film industry which was termed as ‘Casting Couch’. There were many actresses who alleged many producers, directors and even actors over harassment.
Now, Taapsee Pannu has revealed that once a man tried to touch her backside outside a Gurudwara and she defended herself by grabbing his finger and twisting it.
“There used to be stalled next to [Gurudwara] that served food to people outside,” she added. “The place used to be crowded in a way that people would end up bumping into each other,” said Taapsee.
Tapsee initially started her career in South and she felt that heroines in South would only be roped for.glamour roles. Then, she shifted her base to the North and has become one of the most bankable heroines in the Industry.
She was one of the lead roles in the National Award-winning movie ‘Pink’ and has been very selective about the scripts and did some excellent roles in movies like Badla, Mission Mangal, Saandh Ki Aankh and Game Over.
