Team India’s tremendous run continues on the Newzealand soil as they defeated New Zealand in the third T20I at Seddon Park Hamilton in an electrifying Super over.

Virat Kohli & co hugging Rohit after MATCH WINNING SHOT

Batting first, India posted 179 runs on the board. Rohit and Rahul gave a superb start for the team by posting 89 runs for the first wicket. At that point, India is eyeing at a 200+ score but the promotion of Dubey after Rahul departed seized the momentum. Sooner, Rohit headed the pavilion scoring 65 runs off 40 balls and Kohli played the innings steady and slow for his 38 as Dubey also departed clearly. Eventually, some final blows from Pandey and Iyer posted a respectable total for India on board.

Hamish Bennet took 3 crucial Indian wickets

New Zealand kept losing wickets at regular intervals but it was their Captain Kane Williamson who stool tall by scoring 95 off 48 balls which was a spectacular knock. Except Guptil, No batsman played well but the Kiwi skipper sailed the ship alone. India’s best bowler Bumrah was pounded hard today which is a rare sight. Match came to the last over where New Zealand needed 9 runs and Taylor hit a six off the first ball. Later, when they needed 4 runs of 2 balls, Shami scalped both Kane and Ross to take the match to the super over.

Thakur and Shami took 2 wickets each and Jadeja bowled quite economically. But Bumrah was pounded hard which a very rare sight to witness.
