Raviteja was one of the highest-paid actors in TFI in his earliest days as the lead actor and later there has been a constant graph in his mid-phase. But it took no time to diminish. Now, Raviteja is in a desperate need for a solid comeback and rested his hopes on his latest movie, ‘Disco Raja’ which unfortunately gained mixed talk on its day of release.
Disco Raja has collected Rs 2.54 crore in the AP/TS region alone, which is below par performance due to the mixed response from the audience. The film opened to an average collection from the worldwide market.
Here is the area-wise breakdown of how much Ravi Teja’s movie earned on its opening day:
Nizam: Rs 1.08 crore
Ceeded: Rs 36 lakh
UA: Rs 31 lakh
East: Rs 19 lakh
West: Rs 15 lakh
Guntur: Rs 17 lakh
Krishna: Rs 18 lakh
Nellore: Rs 10 lakh
Also, the film’s worldwide opening was not that good. Its worldwide box office collection is Rs 3.5 crore to Rs 4.5 crore.
This film meed 19 crores more for its break-even which is the most unlikely scenario to happen at this stage of Raviteja’s career. Seriously, what has gotten into our Mass Maharaja?
