Mana Analysis: Jagan’s 1LAKH CRORE idea is Utter flop?

-

The main obstacle for Jagan’s three capital decision is the protests of the Amaravati farmers. So, before ensuring that the bill force into an act, the high power committee has decided to compensate the Amaravati farmers. The initial planning for their compensation requires almost 1lakh crores. If you exclaim that this amount is quite huge, let’s have a look at the equation.

AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy

The previous government took lands from the farmers which are high yielding ones with a lot of fertility. They promised to increase the value of the lands and nearby properties with the development in the capital region. Now, Jagan’s government is thinking to make up to their promise by offering 200 extra yards to every acre that a farmer sacrificed.

This is touted as a bonus and the government will face a severe shortage of government land through this decision. Including that, the Tadikonda and Thullur Mandla people will enjoy the benefits Outer Ring Road, Barrage and few bridges which may mark the significant progress in the Amaravati region. The cost for all these has been estimated as 1lakh crore rupees which is enough to build a new capital.

Now, the Amaravati farmers are very much in surprise after knowing this plan. Of course, no government has proposed this kind of settlement without any litigations in the recent past. They say that the offers will reside on the paper and the chances are bleak that they transform into reality. So, would Jagan’s governments make them believe with their breathtaking proposal?
