Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Monday claimed JNUSU President Aishe Ghosh was leading masked thugs into the university and shared a video reported by a journalist. The ABVP retweeted a video that purportedly showed Ghosh following masked men. “Any more doubt left as to who really are the masked goons spreading terror on campus?” ABVP asked.
However, JNUSU denied the allegations stating that Aishe and others were trying to clear goons. The JNUSU said that Ghosh and others went after the masked goons “trying to clear them out, clearly alarmed at the situation”.
But, after a mob entered JNU campus and unleashed violence on students, a video of the JNU student union President, Aishe Ghosh was circulated online which showed blood running down her face. “I’ve been brutally attacked by goons who were masked, I have been bleeding. I am not in a condition to talk,” she could be heard saying in the video.
There could be many more twists in this horrible incident and yet the miscreants have to be brought into custody.
