The Union Budget presented by the Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday is said to be a well-balanced one and the BJP government followed a specific pattern that has been in the game for the years. They have taken many measures to push employment in the country by posing education as their focal point.

Here are the things that will turn costlier and cheaper from tomorrow

Cigarettes and tobacco products will become costlier after the Budget. Customs duty on footwear has been raised to 35% from 25% and on furniture goods to 25% from 20%. Whereas, customs duty on certain inputs and raw materials like fuse, chemicals, and plastics has been lowered. Basic customs duty on news print and light-weight coated paper imports has been reduced. 

Some alcoholic beverages, Soya fibre, Soya protein , Agro-based animal products, Steel, Copper, Clay iron, Catalytic converters, some electrical products, Some automobile spare parts will take a toll on the consumers and distributors.
